Deadlines
Space reservations are due the 5th of the month preceding the month of issue. Publication-set ad copy is due the 10th of the month preceding the month of issue. Camera-ready copy is due the 8th of the month preceding the month of issue.

Mechanical Requirements
Three different column widths are available: 2-1/8", 4-1/2", 7". Minimum depth is 1".

Color Rates
Process colors are available at $35 per color per ad. No color charges to 6x or greater advertisers. Process colors will be used to match corporate identity or special colors as closely as possible.

Online Classifieds @ IFT.org
Leverage the global, 24/7 exposure that online classifieds offer. This translates to visibility over and above regular Food Technology audience exposure. Visit IFT.org, and click on Publications.

Add-On Fees
When combined with an ad in Food Technology magazine, an online classified ad will be billed at $20/month and a website link or e-mail address posting will be billed at $35/month.

Short Rates and Rebates
Advertisers will be short-rated if, within a 12-month period, they do not use the number of insertions upon which their billings were based. Advertisers will be rebated if, within a 12-month period, they have used sufficient additional insertions to warrant a lower rate than that at which they were billed.

Free Typesetting
Our Food Technology staff is delighted to typeset your ad and enclose it in a border, free of charge. One complete revision is included in the price of the ad. Additional changes will incur a charge of $25 per revision.

Artwork
Advertisers may submit camera-ready (black and white) art or digital files for their ad, logo, or special border. For digital artwork, please submit a labeled disk with PageMaker or QuarkXPress layout files and files of linked (not embedded) graphics in appropriate Photoshop or Illustrator EPS or TIFF format, layout fonts, contact name, and phone number. A black and white or color laser proof should also be included. Classified ads may also be submitted as PDF files.
